Lived Experience

Consult Our Lived Experience Experts At Conference

One of the most commented on aspects of the Design in Mental Health conference is the value that the voice of lived experience brings, whether through speakers at conference, or informal conversation.

This year we are offering a consultation space, where architects, designers, contractors, manufacturers and members can consult with our Lived Experience Experts and bring their design questions and conundrums to the DiMHN stand at conference.

The consultation space sessions are 30 minutes each. Please bring a project size or aspect of a project that can be usefully discussed in that length of time. You will have 5 minutes to present – please prepare a maximum of three follow on questions that you’d like to discuss with our consultants.

Due to the open area of the space, please do not bring anything that requires confidentiality. In future, we will be able to offer confidential consultations to members outside conference. If you are interested in this as a service, please email to inquire.
